The Belgrade Arbitration Center is delighted to announce that as of January 2024, Professor Dr. Vladimir Pavi\u0107 will assume the role of President. Professor Pavi\u0107 has been an integral part of the institution since its inception, holding the position of Vice-President. His involvement played a crucial role in establishing the institution, drafting its Rules, and contributing a decade of dedicated service. In the future, Professor Pavi\u0107 will lead efforts to position the BAC as a modern institution for resolving international and domestic disputes, extending its influence both within the region and beyond.<\/p>\n
Professor Pavi\u0107 succeeds Professor Dr. Maja Stanivukovi\u0107, who served as the institution’s President for the past decade. Professor Stanivukovi\u0107, the first female leader of an arbitral institution in the region, is credited for the institution’s outstanding work, breakthroughs on the domestic, regional and international stages, and the meticulous handling of disputes that built the BAC’s reputation.
