The University of Belgrade Faculty of Law and Serbian Arbitration Association have jointly organized traditional essay prize contest in honor of late Professor Ga\u0161o Kne\u017eevi\u0107. After evaluating the submitted essays, the jury decided to award the first prize to Marko Do\u0161li\u0107, for a paper on a topic \u201cSettlement Facilitation by the Arbitral Tribunal – Boosting Efficiency or Endangering Due Process Rights\u201d,\u00a0 the second prize to Du\u0161an Jablan, for a paper \u201eWhat\u2019s CISG Got To Do With It \u2013 Applicability of CISG To Arbitration Agreements\u201d, and third prize to Nina Ra\u0161ljanin, for a paper \u201eEmergency Arbitration – Is the Game Worth the Candle\u201c. All recipients are students or former students of the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law. The members of the jury were arbitration experts who are members of the Arbitration Association and its Board, as well as members of the Board of the Belgrade Arbitration Center. The first place will be awarded with a cash prize, and the Kne\u017eevi\u0107 family decided to reward the second and third place with a trip to Rovinj (Croatia) due to the quality of the papers and the minor difference between the first three places.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
