The Board of the Arbitration Association appointed Prof. Dr. Maja Stanivuković as the President of the Belgrade Arbitration Center (BAC) on its session held on 15 May 2014, by unanimous vote. Prof. Dr. Maja Stanivuković is a Professor of Private International law and Arbitration Law, serves as the Head of International Law Department at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law and is one of the leading experts in arbitration and ADR in Serbia.
Prof. Dr Maja Stanivuković will be the first female to chair an arbitral institution in the region. Aside from Prof. Stanivukovic, other members of the Board of the BAC are Prof. Vladimir Pavić, S.J.D. (Vice-president), Tijana Kojović, S.J.D., Dr Jernej Sekolec and Dr. Miloš Živković.
